Shit it's been almost a month. Where does the time go, when I go? Good Christ. It always seems like forever anymore. Well then! What's there to say. I'm not gonna blather on and on about my checklist above, becuase it's there. You see it. You know what's going on. :heart:

Well, Owl City is the best thing since sliced bread, the song "Undisclosed Desires" by Muse restored by faith in the band. It's my favorite song by them next to "Apocalypse Please" ... Which is hilarious to request when listening to my little brother's MP3 player with him. 'Cause I tend to say please when asking for a particular song. I mean, c'mon it's his music player and it's only polite. But it's great because the song already has please in it. xD

...I'm a fucking music dork, ignore that.

On another note, I've simply come to the conclusion that I want to slap some people upside the head with their keyboard as hard as I possibly can. That or their own chosen drawing utensils.

The other day I was looking through some of my older stuff, and on some of my older stuff there were comments that were like "Yeah that's great, but it would be even better if you drew this!" Now, I could go on a tangent about how much I raged at that just enough to make a tiny nuclear explosion somewhere in the world. But! I won't.

I brought it up because, c'mon people. Seriously. Everyone, with all the vastly different levels of experience with art, have one thing certainly in common. They work hard on their art. Or I like to think everyone does, but that's not the point.

I just think that's kind of rude if someone does that. You spend hours, days, weeks slaving over something... it's your pride and joy. You put it up wherever for display, or even show it to other folks, etc. And I'm not saying everyone should worship the work and give asspats to acknowledge your greatness! No, I'm saying that it's pretty goddamn rude and irritating when you have put in all this effort only to have some asshat end up saying that it would be even BETTER OMG if you did the bullshit they want.

Shit that's not even relevant to the work!

And that's what happened to me. I shared work that had personal value and meaning to me. The whole point was to express homage to things that I hold in high regard. Nope, whole purpose was blown off because some fuckass decided it was more crucial to try and tell me what I should be drawing.

Unless an artist says that they would like suggestions for what else they should draw, or what you would like to see more of in their gallery, don't pull that stunt folks. Really. It's rude, annoying, and makes you look like a serious cunt.

Ugh. I'm just being crabby, I think. I don't really like to rant in the journal, but whatevs. There you have it. xD
